It depends on what's involved, but you'll always get a written costs agreement before we start work. For straightforward conveyancing and simple wills we can usually quote a fixed fee up front.

Yes. We can take instructions by phone, email or video call, and we can arrange for documents to be signed and witnessed remotely where the law allows it. Some matters — particularly certain wills and enduring powers of attorney — still need to be signed in person, and we'll tell you up front if yours is one of them.
Yes. Conveyancing, wills and estate matters can be handled remotely for clients anywhere in Queensland.
You'll deal directly with one of our solicitors — Peter, Mary or Madelaine — not a paralegal or a case manager. Campbells Legal is a family practice, and many of our clients have worked with the same solicitor here for decades.
Bring whatever you already have — a contract, a letter, a will, a court document, or just your notes. Photo ID is helpful, since we're required to verify your identity for most property and estate matters. If you're not sure what's relevant, bring it anyway and we'll sort through it with you.
